How is realtime sync implemented for mac osX

ownCloud - Dec 23 2013
answered
Question:Hi all

I read that on linux, the Owncloud client uses the kernel service inotify (which in my experience is very efficient and reliable). How efficient is the realtime sync with mac osX and what is the service that it uses?

Thanks for your answer

Eric Smith
