That`s the distributor logo, I included it in the theme folder. Navigate to /home/$YOURUSERNAME/.themes/kore/ and copy the start-here.png to /opt/gnome/share/icons/gnome/24x24/places/

It is almost obviously a Ms Media Player based theme. However, its look will be probably better while matures.

Is a good contribution to the dark side [...]

My window border (metacity?) looks a dull grey. How do I get the black border, as in the screenshot?

When I apply the theme, I get a different window decoration from the screenshot. So I extracted the file and indeed, the metacity theme is a white windeco.
