Hope this will be fixed soon.

However, good work overall. You had the motivation and the taste to give us this tremendous (fast and configurable like hell) theme.

Questions:

1-) You said (all) the widgets are gradient cappables. That is: including the main ¨window¨ background? (I don't mean the themeable background of nautilus but something like this: http://www.kde-look.org/content/preview.php?preview=2&id=39993&file1=39993-1.jpg&file2=39993-2.png&file3=39993-3.jpg&name=Konqueror+4.0).

2-) Are or will be configurable delay times for the excelent animation in the radio selection buttons?

PD:// Just questions and/or ideas Thanks for your well invested time Cimi.

Hi cimi.

Could yo please also enable selected listitems to be glassy for 0.52? They currently look rather plain.

Thanks.

 Bug ?

 by Birdman21 on: Mar 3 2007

Hello,

I'm using your Murrine GTK theme engine, and I like it a lot. However, I'm
afraid I have found a bug with the colour of a check box. It seems impossible to set this colour without affecting the background colour of menu items hovered by the mouse containing a check box (see for example the menu
"Display" of gedit).

Here is how to exhibit this behaviour with MurrinaCappucino:
In its gtkrc, in section theme-menu-item, line 71, modify the line to :
bg[SELECTED] = "red"

Line 129, at the end of the style declarations, add the following block :
style "checkbutton"
{
bg[SELECTED] = "green"
# background on an unchecked button; if applied to
# GtkCheckMenuItemit it is also the bg of the menu
# item when you hover it.
bg[PRELIGHT] = "yellow" # bg when you hover a button
base[NORMAL] = "blue" # background of a checked button
}

At the end of the file, add :
widget_class "*.GtkCheckButton*" style "checkbutton"
widget_class "*.GtkRadioButton*" style "checkbutton"
widget_class "*.GtkCheckMenuItem*" style "checkbutton"
widget_class "*.GtkRadioRadioMenu*" style "checkbutton"

Save, and apply the theme.
Open gedit; in menu "File", as expected, hovered items have a red background.
In menu "View", check boxes and radio buttons are in green or blue, depending
on their state, as expected. However, hovered items have a green (and not red)
background.
Open the "Edit > Preferences" or "Edit > Insert Date and Time..." menu and see
that check boxes and radio buttons have the expected colours.
Open "Edit > Preference", tab "Plugins" : see that check boxes don't have the
expected colours. I don't know where their colours come from.

This bug is the last bug (that I have found) which bothers me; once it is
fixed my Murrina will be perfect :=)

Could someone either give me a work-around for this bug, or confirm it ?
I would like better looking checkboxes...
