Hmm, how do you mean? It should work quite well just going into Applications > System Tools > Configuration Editor and changing apps > metacity > general > button layout to ":minimize, maximize, close" (without quotation).

Or did you mean a version where all three buttons are together like the minimize and maximize-buttons are laid out now?

Thanks for your appreciation too!

Thanks for the great rating, I will continue to develop and support this theme as it seems to be really popular. :)

How did you get the white fonts in gnome panel?

 Tray icons

Thats one of the best dark themes i saw for the gnome-desktop... I do think the (light) tray-icons have a negative influence on the upper bar.

Yeah, unfortunately those icons are out of my control... You'll have to file a bug to the gnome-panel developers. Only some of the panel-apps have transparent background. Wish I could do something about it. :(

the theme is very nice, the only problem is that at least here it takes a lot to load the background panel image =/

Really? I didn't notice anything, not even on my rather low-end centrino laptop, running at 600mhz.

You could always crop the panel-background picture down a bit, you'll find it in ~/.themes/Darker Theme/gtk-2.0/Panel/panel-bg.png. Fire up the gimp and crop it down to a smaller size (both horizontally and vertically, to fit the height of your panels). :)
