Themes (chrome-like, chromibuntu) for gtk-2.0, Metacity, xfwm4. I tried to make nice theme for Chromifox (theme for Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/addon/8782)

Perhaps you need to install gtk2-engines-pixbuf package for Ubuntu/Linux Mint.

Thanks merlwiz79 for advices.

Version 0.5:
- support gtk-2.0, xfwm4

Version 0.7
- support Metacity
- some changes

Version 0.8
- index.theme added
- some detail added

Version 1.0
- few mistakes are fixed
- changes for gtk and metacity

Version 2.0
- panels are fixed
- theme chromibuntu has been added

Version 2.1
- buttons improved
- I guess it was the final because this theme has already bored me.

Version 1.1
- version 2.* dropped but it is still here as additional themes
- panel improved

Version 1.5
- several mistakes fixed
- scrollbars upgraded
- taskbar changed
- chrome-like_v2 gtk theme deleted but Metacity remain
- chromibuntu improved

Version 1.6
- buttons and taskbar upgraded

Yes, this is better now. I still miss the V1 buttons, so I've kept that version in addition to the newest one.

Very nice!

Just one small thing. I think the Window Menu button at the top left is little buggy. It doesn't light up quite right like the other min, max, and close buttons.

Also, maybe moving the arrow on that button up a little bit might look nicer. It seems a little low. But that's just my opinion.

Besides that, I like it a lot!

I agree. It would be even better if the arrow was designed like the other buttons. It currently stands out--and not in a good way.

Very good work overall! :)

I love seeing screenshots with Russian in them.

Oh, and the theme looks amazing! Too bad I use KDE. :(

 active tab, change color

I love this theme, but i would like to see a little color change when active tab is active in the panel.

Like having opera and Firefox on and using opera right now, then the color of that tab could maybe be lighter?

Little bit hard to see now.

 GTK+ engine?

by kikicsui on: Apr 15 2009

what GTK+ engine do these themes use?

because when I apply them, I got this message in Appearance Preferences:
"This theme will not look as intended because the required GTK+ theme engine is not installed

 Great Theme... Suggestion

Thank you very much for this theme. I just love it!

A little suggestion... What about making this theme red? Like Debian installer theme, same red.

And another version could be green, like Linux Mint.

Thanks again.
