Description:

Polished version of the Milk Flat Darker Blue Metacity theme(http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Milk+flat+-+darker+blue?content=64535). I altered the colour of the menu button to match the others, and fixed the inconsistency in the border on the right corner. I hope you all enjoy this polished theme. Cheers. =]

As far as I know the GTK theme and icons I use come standard with GNOME or whatnot, but I will list them in case someone does not have them or has not seen them despite having them. :3

GTK Theme: Clearlooks 0.6.5
Icons: Mist

Wallpaper is available here: http://www.animewallpapers.com/wallpapers/furikuri/full_56.php?sort=rating

Update: Changed licence to GPL as its parent work was also under GPL, which requires derivatives to be released under it.

Update2: Fixed a little mistake in the XML file. :3

Changelog:

1.1 - Fine-tuned the menu button to completely match the colour scheme of the other buttons. Remade the inactive buttons with 30% opacity of their parent images to ensure consistency.

1.0 - Removed the issue with the right side border. Tuned the menu button colour to be even closer to the colour of the others.

You should, properly speaking, request permission of the original author and also whoever made the port.

Milk was originally made by Max Rudberg:

I don't know about this blue version.

Well, if he has issue with me releasing it I will take it down. However, the other milk themes went up without an issue AFAIK. However, as a good gesture, I added credit to him in the author section of the XML file for the theme. =]

I also noticed that Milk Flat Darker Blue was released under the GPL and I had initially released this derivative under the BSD licence, which as we know is incompatible(as is any non-GPL licence I believe). Therefore, I have changed the licence of this to GPL. Thanks for bringing this up because it made me pay attention to that, despite it being somewhat unrelated. Cheers. :D

Due to ignorace (I assume it's more likely than malice) Milk pixmaps have come to be treated as public domain in gnome-look. This is illegal. The laziness of the gnome-look editors is irrelevant.

I'm not picking on you personally. I'm just tired of the gnome-look users constantly disabusing copyrighted material, ignoring licenses, and essentially stealing other people's hard work. You seem to be an honest chap which puts you on the good column of my book. (Not that I have a book, mind you, that would be weird :)

P.S. I know how hard it is to get all the permissions for Milk themes. I tried a year ago and promptly gave up.

P.P.S. I've been contacted five (5) years after I stopped working on a GPL'ed project by someone who wanted permission to port it to BSD. I miss those days.
