 Contradictory

Linux stands for freedom, and Che believed in tyranny. He was one of the masterminds of a society were having a computer and internet connection at home is forbidden and a crime.

Che in the context of Ubuntu

I also feel there is a gross contradiction here. Ernesto Che Guevara was a proven tyrant, despot and mass murderer. Would you like to live in a Cuban society under Che and Castro, where stiff prison term awaits you for reading a forbidden book or being gay?

In the world of metaphors, Che fits perfectly into the Microsoft world: users /and citizens/ kept on leash, their rights removed or curbed, their behaviour monitored.

I think Che is the antithesis of all that Ubuntu project stands for.

 Comunism

You're supid idiots. First of all Che is a symbol of a Strong Idea Outstanding and it doesn't really matter if it is a comunist idea. That is why i thing author made this wallpaper. Che wasn't a tyrran, he was a believer. It all depends on what point of view you choose to asign. You can name him "evil itself" but it wouldn't be an academic perspective.

Author, good work!

Che was a murdering pig. His likeness has no place on this peace oriented site. He killed without reason and without mercy. Shame on anyone who glorifies this sub-human.
