Description:

::Introduction::

What is Azenis I hear you say? Azenis was originally a windowblinds theme created by J.J.Ying, now in its second carnation it has become one of their most prominent themes with almost 200,000 downloads. It has also been ported to KDE by Ezy where it has proved equally successful. I then created a version of the theme for Gnome and it also seems to have done quite well. This is an orange version of the original port that i created for Halloween 2009 at the request of Karmicbastler.

::Package contains::

-Gtk and Metacity Themes
-Nautilus Background
-Default Wallpaper
-Font

::Installation instructions::

1. Download the file and place on your desktop
2. Open a terminal and run these commands:

sudo cp -r $HOME/Desktop/Azenis-Orange /usr/share/themes

3. Open the theme manager, you can now
select the Azenis-orange theme,
when you click on it, it will apply the gtk and metacity themes as well as the icon and cursor themes if you have them installed. It will also give you the option of using the wallpaper provided with this theme.

::Other Versions::

 Fantastic work

 by kzlazy on: Oct 27 2009

I really love your work. I have used almost all your colors but this one I find amazing. I darkened the menu grey color a bit, but other than that, it is my current theme and it is here to stay.

Thanks a lot, I always vote good for your themes.

Always a joy to see your work !! new or updated !! A true pleasure !! It is true artists like yourself that make Linux a force to be reckoned with , with so many themes,icon sets,wallpapers,Ect. and different flavors you can Taylor your favorite distro to your harts content, without artists like you,and others this would not be possible !! Thank you for your great and outstanding work!!

 KDE 4 maybe?

 by kzlazy on: Feb 14 2010

Your splendid theme is my favorite for quite a while now (see my post above).

These last days I am trying to get familiar with KDE 4, and guess what, I'm missing your theme.

So, could you possibly produce a KDE 4 version. That would be awesome.

Thanx.

Im glad you like it, unfortunately im not a KDE user and consequently have absolutely no experience in creating themes for it, although if you can find anyone up for the task they are more than welcome to give it a go =)
